10/31/11 - Cartoons of Pi San

10/31/11 - Reading Strategy change.

  • Readers will be assigned for each article. Readers will write, print and hand out 1 summary of the article. Readers will go over summary for ~10 mins.
  • Everyone else will make a list of key terms in article and write down their own understanding of those terms. If a key term is not covered in summary bring them up in discussion. If your understanding of a term differs differs from summary, bring that up.

10/25/11 - On reading days please come prepared with list of key terms used by authors, and your understanding of said terms.

10/3/11 - Class in Library, 109 Lockwood

9/28/11 - first difficult reading is Barthes and Benjamin from media analysis section of GS1_Texts. If you know these well read at least one of the other readings from this section and prepare to name drop it during discussion. START READING NOW!
